Hi all! I created this to give a little insight into my travels since so many people have had so many questions on what I did, where I went, and what advice I had to give. Travel has opened my eyes in so many ways and humbled me greatly. I am a hiking enthusiast with a penchant for seeing more of the world. I like everything and anything from snowshoeing, kayaking, backpacking, dirt biking to anything that gets my adrenaline pumping. I dabble in way too many hobbies, the most recent being freediving. What you don’t see is that I am also a nurse, specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery and dabbled a bit in Pediatric Intensive Care (that’s the more serious & responsible me who supports these adventurous habits).

I have done tours, travelled solo & with friends. On a daily, I am pretty much always with my dog, Baloo, if I can help it. He has actually saved my life on several occasions and has become a protective & insanely loyal adventure partner.

I am married to an amazing man who has become my best friend and partner-in-crime. He’s a Captain for CalFire and hardly home, which leads me to my solo travels & hiking life. Having never travelled before meeting me, he actually puts up with all my crazy antics and allows me to plan his vacation adventures when he does get time off.
